The company operates the distillery in Lexington as well as one in Ireland. The company’s founder Pearse Lyons was born in Ireland and cultivated his love and knowledge for whiskey for many years as a biochemist for Irish Distillers. The distilling roots grow deep at Town Branch.
Town Branch, named after the river that runs through Lexington, is unique to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail as it’s the only combination distillery and brewery – this is the only stop on the trail in which you will get to sample beer as well as bourbon!
